Goals and scope

The policy of the journal Vojnoistorijski glasnik is to publish only original scientific works that meet scientific standards (original scientific article, overview article, short or preliminary announcement, scientific criticism, polemic and review and critical edition of original material) and expert works (reviews, informative appendices) that deal with military history with a special emphasis on the history of Serbia, Yugoslavia and the Balkans. The Vojnoistorijski glasnik magazine does not publish works that are not based on a scientific approach and are journalistic, that have mythological content, that affirm racist, chauvinistic and other discriminatory concepts or in any way contain hate speech, personal confessions and literary prose of non-scientific content. Papers that go beyond the thematic framework of the journal will not be accepted. All scientific works submitted to the editorial office go through a process of professional and scientific verification based on an initial review in the editorial office and a mutually anonymous review.

Works published in the Military Historical Review can be found in the CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library) database: https://www.ceeol.com/
